WIVI Vision Secures €4M Funding for AI-Based Visual Health Solutions

Bilbao-based WIVI Vision has raised €4 million in funding led by Adara Ventures to enhance visual health with innovative AI-based therapies. The Series A financing will support domestic and global growth and the development of new technologies, bringing the total raised to €7 million. Founded in 2016, WIVI Vision has already established a presence in over 70 visual health centers in Spain and aims to expand internationally.

WIVI Vision’s solution combines AI, Big Data, and 3D technologies with gamification to provide individualized training programs for patients with visual dysfunctions. The company recently partnered with Vision Rehab Technologies, Inc. (VRTI) to expand into the US market. The technology aims to revolutionize traditional visual assessment methods, offering a fun and non-invasive experience for patients while providing objective data for specialists.

CEO Eva García Ramos expressed confidence in the business model, highlighting the company's ability to improve visual health and quality of life using adapted and affordable technology.
