Cybersecurity startup Reach Security Inc. has secured $20 million to enhance its artificial intelligence-driven security features. Co-founded by Garrett Hamilton and Colt Blackmore, the company focuses on optimizing existing security tools for operational efficiency.

Reach argues that the cybersecurity market is shifting towards optimizing existing investments rather than adding complexity with new tools. Their AI purpose-built platform offers a 360-degree view of an organization's security infrastructure, empowering defenders to act with automation.

The platform, requiring no new infrastructure, provides insights in seconds and actions in minutes. Leaders such as Ballistic Ventures Alpha LLC and Mark McLaughlin, former CEO of Palo Alto Networks, participated in the Series A round, signaling confidence in Reach's approach.

According to McLaughlin, Reach understands the demand for operational efficiency in security platforms while maintaining best-of-breed capabilities. This investment reflects a commitment to meeting customers' needs and ensuring operational effectiveness on their cybersecurity journey.
