Parag Agrawal, the former CEO of Twitter, has raised $30 million for his AI startup, supported by Khosla Ventures, Index Ventures, and First Round Capital. Agrawal's company focuses on creating software for large language model developers, tapping into the market popularized by OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Elon Musk, owner of Twitter (now X Corp.), fired Agrawal in 2022 after he raised funds for the AI firm. The investment, led by Khosla Ventures, has not been publicly disclosed. Agrawal, a former OpenAI investor, aims to contribute to the evolving AI landscape.

Last year, X Corp. paid Agrawal and other officials $1.1 million in legal fees after their termination. Despite the controversial firing, Agrawal and other executives received exit packages from Twitter, with Agrawal's estimated compensation reaching $40 million.

Parag Agrawal's foray into the AI race, backed by significant funding, adds an intriguing chapter to the evolving narrative of tech executives venturing into innovative AI solutions.
