Munich-based AI startup Interloom secures $3 million in seed funding from Air Street Capital to pioneer a new approach to process automation. With a background in AI and successful business ventures, cofounder Fabian Jakobi aims to leverage advanced AI techniques to automate complex tasks beyond the capabilities of traditional RPA.

Unlike conventional RPA, which relies on rigid rules and idealized workflows, Interloom plans to teach its AI software on actual business operations, allowing for more flexible and intuitive automation. By extracting implicit knowledge from historical data, the company aims to triple productivity in tasks such as managing import/export documents, processing insurance claims, and risk assessments.

With only ten employees, Interloom plans to target Germany's medium-sized industrial firms initially, with ambitions to expand internationally. By reimagining process automation with AI, the company aims to revolutionize productivity across various sectors, supported by its deep understanding of automating complex procedures.

As businesses increasingly embrace AI-first strategies, Interloom seeks to transform the economy by empowering businesses with advanced AI capabilities, ultimately reshaping how work is done and enhancing productivity on a global scale.
