Hazel Technologies is a company focused on extending the shelf life of fresh produce, thereby reducing waste and ensuring consumers get to enjoy their fruits and vegetables at their best for longer. They've developed small packets that, when placed with the produce, release an ethylene inhibitor that slows down the ripening process, helping to keep the produce fresh. They provide these solutions to a range of clients, including growers, suppliers, and retailers in the food industry.

The company was founded in 2015 by scientists and engineers at Northwestern University who were passionate about reducing food waste. Since then, Hazel Technologies has grown to provide its freshness solutions to more than 150 customers in 12 countries. Their goal is to continue providing practical and effective solutions that help reduce waste and maximize the freshness and quality of fresh produce around the world.
