To grow its parent-led autism therapy platform, Forta receives $55 million. The funding will be used to expand autism therapy, conduct AI and LLM research, and enhance clinical algorithms. The Series A round, led by Insight Partners, included participation from Alumni Ventures and Exor Ventures, along with creators of well-known brands.

Forta utilizes AI and LLMs in a 50-hour training program to offer individualized applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for autism. The company plans to extend its autism therapy practice, conduct further AI and LLM research, and improve clinical algorithms with the Series A funding. Forta's CEO, Ritankar Das, emphasizes empowering local and family caregivers with AI-based tools for more effective interventions.

As of 2020, the CDC estimates one in every 36 children has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Digital health startups, such as SpectrumAi and others like Sprout and Floreo, specialize in providing autism treatment. SpectrumAi, based in Los Angeles, secured $9 million in seed capital and up to $20 million in Series A funding in 2022.
